Reminder: Google Photos is ending free unlimited storage on June 1

Previously announced in November 2020, all photos and videos uploaded to Google Photos by iPhone users after June 1, 2021, will count against a user’s 15GB of Google Account Storage.Photographers using Google Photos to back up high-quality digital images need to find an alternative in the next day. Google is ending unlimited storage beginning on June 1.Photos already uploaded to Google Photos won’t count toward storage limits — but also won’t be retained in high resolution. Only images uploaded after June 1, 2021, will count toward the 15GB limit that comes with every Google Account or toward the additional storage that has been purchased via Google One. Read more…
