Foxconn India 'gradually' reopening plant after food poisoning protests

Foxconn says it has implemented “corrective actions” following worker protests over living conditions, and Apple’s placing the Sriperumbudur iPhone plant on probation.After workers protested at unsanitary living conditions, and worms in their food, Foxconn was forced to close its southern India plant. Alongside demands of local government, Foxconn was also placed on probation by Apple until conditions were improved.Now according to The Economic Times, the company has announced that it will start bringing workers back.
